Since 2019, Hållnäs Konstkoloni has collaborated with Region Uppsala and Lithuanian residency centre DAR (Druskininkai Artists‘ Residence), which since 2012 has seen over one hundred composers and sound artists from Lithuania and other countries participating in its residencies.  

So far, one artist from each country has participated in the collaboration, spending two weeks in either Hållnäs or Druskininkai.

In 2023, we are hoping to extend the residency to more artists and another two partners in Sweden and Lithuania, depending on available funding, creating more possibilities of exchanges between artists from different parts of the Baltic region.
