Our konstkoloni was (ca 2017-25) a family-run venue for artistic residencies in the forests close to the Baltic sea.

Since September 2025, we have put our residency on hold for a few years. We will not be hosting new artists in the coming years.

However, if you have stayed with us previously and have your own transport, there will be some opportunities to rent our family house and studio/desk space for a quiet and peaceful retreat close to nature. Contact Åsa via info@hallnaskonstkoloni.com if this sounds interesting.

Warm thanks to all – writers, artists, composers, families, volunteers and friends – who have found your way to our little corner of the world in the last few years! (Let us know if you find yourself in Hållnäs again, and we will put the kettle on.)
